Baking Traditional Challah for Prayers and Memories

The braided loaves that are traditionally enjoyed throughout the year can be ordered for Sabbath and all the Jewish holidays. This sweet bread, which is baked at our Newton Centre bakery, has been a neighborhood favorite for many years.

We specialize in braided, round and pan Challah. Our gorgeous breads will grace any Sabbath or holiday table. Give thanks, as you make the blessing on separating the round Challah and give thanks for the hope that the New Year will lead to a more heavenly period. We also bake the circular Challah to be placed in the center of the the Rosh Hashana table. Our most requested, absolutely magnificent Challah is a 6-braid challah, either straight or circular.
